Job Overview

An Academic Mentorship Specialist at Galin Education will provide one-on-one support to students, teaching them executive function and academic skills to succeed in their education and beyond. This role involves creating personalized learning plans, helping students manage time, prioritize tasks, and develop effective study habits.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to build trust with students and their families. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's or graduate studies preferred. Experience working with students who have ADHD, anxiety, or other learning challenges is also highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans for students
  • Provide guidance on time management, organization, and study skills
  • Maintain open communication with students and their families
  • Conduct regular progress assessments and adjust strategies as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree; Master's or graduate studies preferred
  • Experience working with students who have ADHD, anxiety, or other learning challenges
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Availability to work at least 5 hours per week
Salary Range

$40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience
