Tal Healthcare is seeking a talented Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the New York City Metro area. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, patient-focused environment with a rich history of providing excellent care.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to patients receiving chemotherapy, blood products, growth factors, and supportive care. You will also collaborate with attending physicians to develop care plans, monitor patient progress, and provide discharge instructions.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality adult oncology and hematology services in a warm, professional atmosphere.
- Develop and implement patient education efforts related to cancer diagnosis and treatment.
- Collaborate with attending physicians to manage the infusion center, including screenings, lab results, and follow-up appointments.
- Master of Science degree in Nursing - Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Certification as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner from a New York State approved accrediting body.
- Current, unrestricted New York State Registered Nurse license and Nurse Practitioner license.
- Experience in hematology/oncology preferred.
