About the Position
Banner University Medical Center-Tucson is seeking a Per Diem Academic Cardiologist to join our team. As a Per Diem Academic Cardiologist, you will provide patient care, teaching, and research in the field of cardiology.
Responsibilities
- Provide cardiology and non-interventional cardiac care to inpatients and outpatients
- Participate in activities of the cardiology section
- Conduct research and perform academic responsibilities
- Perform duties of a staff cardiologist
Requirements
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease
- Fellowship training in non-invasive Cardiology
- One-year practice experience
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a community hospital environment
- Strong commitment to patient care, strong teaching and clinical skills, and desire for translational research
