The selected candidate will assist patrons at the circulation desk and oversee the budget for the youth book collection.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and executing programs for youth.
  • Offering reader's advisory services.
  • Managing promotional content and calendars.
  • Providing exceptional customer service at the circulation desk.
  • Administering the budget for the teen book collection.

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of education and experience equivalent to an Associate Degree from a two-year college, with a Bachelor's Degree preferred, along with one to three years of relevant experience or an equivalent mix of education, training, and experience that equips them with the necessary skills and knowledge to fulfill the essential job functions.

Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate the ability to maintain professional relationships in the workplace.


Compensation and Benefits:

The Maine Municipal Association offers a competitive salary and benefits package. This is a full-time position with a starting hourly wage commensurate with experience.
