We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales supervisor to join our team at Pendleton Woolen Mills Inc in Eugene, OR. As a sales supervisor, you will be responsible for driving sales and profitability through exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the company's sales and profitability goals by driving product knowledge, exceptional customer service, and sales.
- Maintain store visual objectives and housekeeping expectations.
- Provide positive feedback and coaching to sales staff, encouraging positive selling and customer service behaviors.
- Communicate effectively with store management and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and clear manner.
- Responsible for shift opening and closing store functions, including inventory processing and receiving.
- Creates and executes daily planner and communicates expectations with staff.
- Responsible for shift inventory processing, receiving in, transferring out activities, order fulfillments and shipping.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures and ensures store team is compliant.
- Completes sales transactions with efficiency from end to end.
- Escalate store issues in a timely manner; problem solve and actively recommend solutions or improvements.
- 3 years retail sales or customer service experience, including a minimum of 2 years store supervision.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Microsoft office skills, including Excel, Publisher, and Word.
- Retail inventory software and order processing systems.
- Understand the POS system and other software used by the stores.
- Flexible schedule with nights, holidays, and weekend shifts per scheduling guidelines.
- Physical dexterity and stamina to reach and lift to complete visual presentations and/or store set up.
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
- Reaching arms over head, ladder use, computer operation, continuous standing and walking, hand coordination, telephone use, speaking, reading, writing.
