Job Title: Medical Director of Clinical Development

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director of Clinical Development to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our clinical development team, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of clinical trials in oncology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of clinical trials in oncology, ensuring high-quality results and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement clinical trial strategies, including protocol development, investigator brochures, and informed consent forms.
  • Provide medical input and oversight for clinical trial data management, including data analysis, query resolution, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clinical investigators, study coordinators, and KOLs.
  • Manage clinical development budgets and provide forecasts to the clinical development and finance teams.
Qualifications:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO), preferably board certified in medical oncology.
  • 5+ years of experience in clinical development, with at least 2 years in the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in translational medicine/early phase oncology clinical trials is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of GCP/ICH/IRB and local regulatory authority drug research and development guidelines and regulations.
  • Proven ability to interact and work with external partners (PIs and consultants) with regards to clinical development functions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, a strong sense of urgency, and keen attention to detail.
  • A proven track record of successfully working within a collaborative team environment and building positive relationships as an individual contributor.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong organizational skills.
