We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse II to join our Oncology team at LGH B41. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, coordinate care processes, and collaborate with colleagues to achieve desired outcomes.
Responsibilities- Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, prioritizing and implementing proper patient care accordingly.
- Integrate nursing interventions into the multidisciplinary plan of care, incorporating appropriate standards of care and practice patient outcomes.
- Perform treatments as ordered by providers, recognizing potential problems and responding to urgent and emergent risks to patients.
- Provide care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner, preserving patient autonomy, dignity, and rights.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure patient care interventions are appropriate.
- Document patient assessment findings, physical/psychosocial responses to nursing interventions, and progress towards problem resolution.
- Completion of accredited LPN training program.
- At least one year of Nursing (LPN) experience.
- Valid, current, full and unrestricted LPN license in the State of Virginia.
- BLS Certification.
- Prior experience in a similar setting.
