Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Cosmetologist to join our team at Lakelands NRC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality beauty and barber services to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Beauty and Barber Services
- Provide a range of beauty and barber services, including shampooing, cutting, setting of hair, coloring, perms, braiding, beard and mustache trims, and nail polishing.
- Resident Care
- Transport residents to and from the beauty/barber shop in a safe and respectful manner.
- Monitor residents' physical and mental status while in the beauty/barber shop and report any changes to nurses.
- Supply Management
- Ensure that all supplies are well-stocked and notify the Activity Director when replenishment is needed.
- Sanitation and Safety
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all infection control and safety protocols.
- Communication
- Provide a daily list of residents serviced and services rendered to the facility.
Requirements
- Active Cosmetologist License in the state of South Carolina.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
