Virta Health is a pioneering virtual specialty medical clinic that revolutionizes the treatment of type 2 diabetes and metabolic health. We're seeking a dynamic and dedicated board-certified endocrinologist to join our core clinical team.

Our innovative approach combines nutritional intervention, data science, and digital tools with clinical expertise to shift the diabetes treatment paradigm from management to reversal. Our clinicians offer a real solution to patients with diabetes, pre-diabetes, and weight management, dramatically improving health and decreasing the need for medications.

As a remote diabetes specialist, you'll provide safe and timely care during office hours, collaborating with our team of expert health coaches and clinicians. You'll be responsible for managing your panel of patients through continuous remote care, ensuring adequate follow-up, and sharing after-hours coverage with our team.

Actively participate in the development of new technology and protocols to improve patient care and outcomes. Serve as an endocrinology expert, providing guidance to our physicians and nurse practitioners on complex diabetes patients. Collaborate with our team to raise the level of diabetes, pre-diabetes, and obesity care through consultation, case review, publication, and presentation.

Virta Health has a location-based compensation structure. Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. For this role, the compensation range is $178,000 - $205,000. This role is also eligible to earn a $20,000 bonus pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Company's incentive compensation plan.
