We are currently in search of a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. This role will involve providing leadership, mentoring, and training to junior staff members across various domains, including technical expertise, project management, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make significant design recommendations and decisions with minimal oversight.
  • Plan and assign design tasks for projects of varying sizes, ensuring quality control throughout.
  • Contribute to leadership within our Technical Operations Team for diverse projects.
  • Serve as an advisor, analyze technical challenges, and prepare reports.
  • Play a crucial role in project reviews to ensure quality for complex assignments.
  • Provide technical support to resolve field issues, requiring site visits and independent problem-solving.
  • Act as Project Manager for large-scale or multiple smaller projects.
  • Identify potential clients, assist in marketing efforts, and prepare service proposals.
  • Consistently engage with existing and new clients, participating in presentations.

Required Skills

  • Expertise in the technical aspects of structural engineering.
  • Proven ability to design and manage significant projects.
  • Strong mentoring and leadership capabilities.
  • Competence in conducting final quality control checks in specialized areas.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering is preferred.
  • Licensed Structural Engineer.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, see, hear, and lift objects up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasionally required to drive, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach with hands or arms, and grasp or pull.
  • Limited exposure to outdoor weather conditions and loud noises.
