With over three decades of service in the community, CLC offers a variety of programs, including creative arts, therapeutic riding, and performing arts initiatives.
Role Overview: We are in search of a committed Clinical Nurse to become a part of our team, available for both full-time and part-time roles.
- Deliver healthcare services to individuals residing in community settings.
- Evaluate physician directives and revise nursing care strategies accordingly.
- Administer prescribed medications as required.
- Oversee nursing staff in executing healthcare duties.
- Ensure the appropriate management and disposal of pharmaceuticals.
- Provide health education and guidance to both clients and staff members.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community resources.
- Engage in case discussions and planning for discharges.
- Monitor alterations in medication and oversee certification processes.
- Uphold the mission of CLC by providing exceptional care.
Qualifications: Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Candidates must possess a valid nursing license in New York State, hold a current driver's license, and successfully complete background checks and drug screenings.
