Beth Abraham Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as the Unit Manager of our Sub-Acute Rehab Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leadership to our staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Clinical Leadership: Oversee the delivery of high-quality patient care, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible treatment and support.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with our healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Manage Unit Operations: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of our unit, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Communicate Effectively: Maintain open and transparent communication with residents, families, and staff to ensure that everyone is informed and engaged in the care process.
- Ensure Quality and Safety: Monitor and improve the quality of care provided, ensuring that our residents receive safe and effective treatment.
Requirements:
- Previous LTC Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a long-term care setting is required.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
- Current RN License: A valid New York State RN license is required.
- Sub-Acute and Sigmacare Knowledge: Experience working in a sub-acute setting and knowledge of Sigmacare are highly desirable.
Salary and Benefits:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $84,000-$95,000, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
