Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Development Specialist to join our team at Veolia Environnement SA. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing process plans to optimize burn results for our incinerators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain written burn plans for various sections of the materials department, including lab pack repack, material processing, tank farm, and receiving sections.
  • Provide technical assistance to plant operations personnel, including troubleshooting, process startups, production volume, and site equipment problems.
  • Collaborate with site personnel to ensure environmental, health, and safety issues are addressed and requirements are met.
  • Prepare and maintain reactive database and profiles to ensure accurate and efficient burn requirements.
  • Monitor and ensure that all hazardous waste inventory is processed within designated time parameters.
  • Work with operational personnel to determine the most effective method of handling various waste streams.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports to evaluate and improve existing process burn plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in the hazardous waste industry preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of processing methodologies.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong customer orientation and ability to present information effectively.
