Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, waiting areas, and administrative offices.
  • Utilize appropriate cleaning agents and disinfectants to ensure effective sanitation.
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors, furniture, and equipment in accordance with infection control standards.
  • Perform detailed cleaning of glass surfaces, restrooms, and fixtures.
  • Ensure dining areas are kept clean and organized.
  • Execute floor care tasks including scrubbing, mopping, and buffing.
  • Restock essential supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper throughout the facility.
  • Properly manage waste disposal in compliance with established procedures.
  • Maintain and care for all cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they meet required standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • Basic reading and writing skills at a high school level.
  • Preferred: At least one year of experience in a housekeeping role within a healthcare environment.
  • Familiarity with cleaning products and disinfectants.
  • Understanding of infection control practices.
