Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Workbox Staffing. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling and repairing electrical systems and equipment, including wiring, fixtures, switches, control panels, and circuit breakers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and repair electrical systems and equipment, including but not limited to wiring, fixtures, switches, control panels, and circuit breakers.
  • Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Provide testing of electrical equipment such as motors, generators, voltage regulators, capacitors, and switches, applying knowledge of assembly techniques, machine setup, and testing procedures for designated area.
  • Demonstrate machine setup and operation, and procedures of assembly, wiring, and soldering techniques, using hand tools, and soldering equipment.
  • Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout, wiring, and configuration of electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and other team members to coordinate installations and repairs and ensure adherence to project timelines and specifications.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with electrical equipment and systems to minimize risks and ensure a safe work environment.
  • Keep abreast of advancements in electrical technology and regulations to ensure compliance and efficiency in operations.
  • Assist in the training and mentoring of junior technicians and apprentices to develop their skills and knowledge in electrical maintenance and repair.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate degree or Certification course completion of training in Electrical or Electronics.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role in an industrial or commercial settings.
  • 2-3 years of hands-on training in Electrical or Electronics.
Preferred Qualifications
