Job Description

The Duncanville ISD is seeking a highly skilled Specialist Behavior Interventionist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing behavioral interventions and support to students with special needs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized behavioral intervention plans to support students with special needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other support staff to ensure consistent implementation of behavioral interventions.
  • Provide direct support to students with special needs, including behavioral interventions and crisis management.
  • Assist with data collection and analysis to inform behavioral intervention plans.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in behavioral intervention.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Experience working with students with special needs, preferably in a public school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
