Nurse Practitioner

The Graduate Nurse is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of excellence within our hospital. As a Graduate Nurse, you will work under the supervision of an experienced RN, developing your clinical skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to a defined group of patients, adhering to our hospital's philosophy of patient care and standards of professional nursing practice.
- Demonstrate responsibility and accountability for judgment and actions, maintaining clinical competency and exercising informed judgment in delegating nursing care to others.
- Promote patient, family, and staff learning, contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes and provide exceptional patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited R.N. school of nursing.
- New graduate nurse with a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with mental alertness and stamina to respond to emergency situations.
- Physical ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, and reach without restrictions, with the ability to lift between 25 and 50 pounds using good body mechanics.
- Ability to push heavy equipment, gurneys, and wheelchairs, with exposure to all patient care elements within the hospital setting.
Regular staff is required to work the hours for which hired, including weekends and holiday coverage if this is part of the operations of the department.
Must meet annual safety training requirements per hospital policy, with some risk of electrical, mechanical, and chemical hazards, and exposure to ionizing radiation in the performance of radiographic tests.
