Position: Maternal and Newborn Care Nurse
- Delivers essential care for infants in the nursery
- Monitors newborns in the care unit
- Assists with specialized medical procedures as required
- Works collaboratively with the healthcare team and Charge Nurse
- Maintains infection control protocols in the nursery
- Engages in team meetings and onboarding of new personnel
- Exhibits outstanding customer service skills
- Performs additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Graduated from an accredited nursing program and holds a valid RN license in Georgia
- At least 2 years of experience in newborn or NICU settings
- Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation and Basic Cardiac Life Support
- Commitment to ongoing education in neonatal care
- Specific unit-related qualifications may be required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- National Certification in a Clinical Specialty
