About the Role:

This position is responsible for assisting the store manager and providing excellent customer service while fueling vehicles with requested fuel grades by performing the following duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train new gas attendants to ensure they are equipped to provide top-notch customer service.
  • Complete daily environmental inspection and maintain daily reporting requirements to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, and processes to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Job Duties:

  • Maintain inventory levels in beverage displays to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Activate pumps and fill customers' fuel tanks with the correct grade and amount of fuel, providing receipts of sales.
  • Process payments transactions with customers, mainly credit card transactions, and direct other forms of payment to the cashier.
  • Report any maintenance concerns to ensure prompt resolution and minimize downtime.
  • Dispense propane for customers, as needed.
  • Complete assigned cleaning responsibilities to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Wash windshields to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Report any suspicious activity to the direct supervisor and authorities, as needed.
  • Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance to ensure seamless operations.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation to achieve common goals.
  • Respectfully take direction from the supervisor/district coordinator to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Maintain Chevron Customer First Standards to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Closing the store when needed to ensure a secure and safe environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the success of the store.
