We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at The Laurels of Steubenville. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
Responsibilities- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Measure and record height and weight, intake and output.
- Care for the residents' environment, ensuring a clean and safe living space.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, and toileting, promoting residents' dignity and independence.
- Assist with eating and hydration, ensuring residents' nutritional needs are met.
- Observe residents' skin and report any changes to licensed nurses, providing skin care as needed.
- Meet residents' mental health and social service needs, providing emotional support and companionship.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Current STNA certification (State of Ohio) or acceptable exemption.
