Oncology Care Professional

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a specialty in Oncology to join our healthcare team at Verovian. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional care to cancer patients, working in a supportive and collaborative environment.


  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to oncology patients.
  • Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor and assess patient responses to treatment, managing side effects and complications.
  • Educate patients and their families about cancer diagnosis, treatment plans, and supportive care options.
  • Work closely with oncologists, pharmacists, social workers, and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to developing individualized care plans.
  • Advocate for patient needs and preferences in all aspects of care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient care records, including treatment administration, patient assessments, and clinical notes.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • 1 year of experience in oncology nursing is preferred.
  • Proficiency in administering chemotherapy and other oncology treatments.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and emotionally challenging environment.
