Job Summary

As a Cardiovascular Technologist at EvergreenHealth Monroe, you will be responsible for producing high-quality images of the heart muscle and its functioning. This involves setting up and operating ultrasound equipment, attaching electrodes to the chest, and recording cardiac data and measurements for adult and pediatric patients undergoing resting echocardiograms.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of the heart muscle and its functioning.
  • Attach electrodes to the chest and operate equipment to record cardiac data and measurements.
  • Perform echocardiograms on adult and pediatric patients, including resting echocardiograms.
  • Document patient information, lab results, and imaging data in the medical record.
  • Participate in on-call shifts and provide emergency ultrasound services as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in the department, adhering to infection control techniques and promoting quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-accredited school of allied health professions or equivalent.
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certified/eligible.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Previous experience in performing ultrasound examinations of the cerebral, peripheral, and abdominal vessels preferred.
