- Oversee the Clinical Educators within your designated territory.
- Collaborate with Program Management and clients to optimize the allocation of Clinical Educators.
- Conduct performance assessments, address HR-related issues, and manage routine staffing matters such as PTO and sick leave.
- Engage in field travel to evaluate the communication and presentation skills of Clinical Educators in various healthcare settings.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new Clinical Educators as required.
- Organize and lead Clinical Educator meetings biannually.
- Assess each Clinical Educator's territory for sufficient coverage and in-service requirements.
- Manage conference attendance and feedback mechanisms.
- Act as the primary contact for team feedback regarding tools and materials.
- Advise on Clinical Educator and program needs for ongoing success.
- Coordinate training on new indications and processes for Clinical Educators.
- Participate in client national sales meetings to align content and training with team needs.
- Maintain communication with client field representatives regarding Clinical Educator performance.
- Clearly communicate goals and expectations to the Clinical Educator team.
- Identify and disseminate best practices across regions.
- Complete all necessary administrative tasks promptly, including daily updates, weekly activity summaries, and monthly expense reports.
- Attend and fulfill all required training courses and competency assessments.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain professional registration and/or licensing as mandated by state laws.
- Possess a valid US driver's license and report any infractions immediately.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Active Registered Nurse license with no restrictions.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in leading a Clinical Educator team.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Clinical Educator in pharmaceutical or hospital settings.
- Active nursing license in good standing in at least one state where services are provided.
- A minimum of five years of recent oncology nursing experience and five years of general nursing experience, including direct patient care, physical assessments, patient education, and proficiency in peripheral IV access. Chemotherapy infusion experience is essential.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Valid motor vehicle license and proof of insurance.
- Excellent communication, speaking, and writing skills.
- Willingness to travel, including overnight trips.
