Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Meat Clerk to join our team at Food City. As a Meat Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality products are available to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Management: Rotate and stock perishable products in a timely and efficient manner to ensure maximum freshness and quality.
  • Meat Preparation: Package and wrap various cuts, salads, and other products to meet customer demands.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Learn about different cuts of beef and pork, including their origins and characteristics.
  • Team Support: Assist in grinding fresh burgers and ensuring compliance with our 18-hour grind policy.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Assist in maintaining a clean and safe cutting room and cooler area.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
  • Previous Experience in Food Service: Preferred
