Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Rogers Behavioral Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our mental health recovery adult unit.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for implementing patient care plans, assessing patients physically and mentally, collaborating with the healthcare team to develop appropriate plans of care, communicating with patients and their families, and administering medication. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric nursing and experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement patient care plans and assess patients physically and mentally.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop appropriate plans of care.
  • Communicate with patients and their families to ensure effective care.
  • Administer medication as prescribed by the physician.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Registered nurse licensed by State Board of Nursing in the state of employment.
  • American Health Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification or is required within thirty (30) days of date-of-hire.
  • Formal training in management of the aggressive patient is required within sixty (60) days of date-of-hire.
  • Previous psychiatric experience with children, adolescents, and adults is preferred.
