GIS Developer Job Description

TalentBridge is seeking a skilled GIS Developer to join our team. As a GIS Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive GIS datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, edit, and maintain GIS datasets for town infrastructure projects.
  • Collect and verify field data to ensure GIS accuracy.
  • Import and integrate GIS data from various sources into the system.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data errors, and interpret GIS data to answer infrastructure-related questions.
  • Build and enhance web applications using React and JavaScript to display GIS data.
  • Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to understand their GIS data needs.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in GIS development and data management.
  • Proficiency with ArcGIS and related GIS tools and technologies.
  • Strong experience with React and JavaScript for building web applications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot GIS-related data issues and interpret complex datasets.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other teams.
