Key Responsibilities:

As a Resort Security Officer, your primary role will be to safeguard the well-being of all guests, owners, and team members through diligent and professional security measures. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting regular and random inspections of the premises to protect against theft, vandalism, fire hazards, and other incidents. A solid understanding of emergency protocols and alarm systems is essential.
  • Maintaining accurate inspection records and reporting any deficiencies to management, along with recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Investigating security-related incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities, compiling comprehensive reports that include statements from witnesses and involved parties.
  • Delivering exceptional service to guests and owners by addressing inquiries, providing directions, and assisting with general problem-solving.
  • Patrolling the resort's interior and exterior to identify potential security threats or unsafe conditions.
  • Administering basic first aid and CPR when necessary.
  • Responding to management requests and collaborating with colleagues to ensure a supportive team environment.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
  • Ability to perform property patrols for extended periods.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with guests in a friendly and effective manner.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Previous experience with computers and excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing.
Additionally, the following attributes will enhance your effectiveness in this position:
  • Prior experience in security within the hospitality sector.
  • A background in military or law enforcement.
  • Current certifications in First Aid and CPR.
