Position Summary: We are in search of a dedicated Field Robotics Technician located in the Buda, TX area. This role is essential for the deployment, maintenance, and oversight of our robotic solutions. As a Field Robotics Technician, you will significantly influence the future of our products by collaborating closely with clients and internal engineering teams to guarantee the effective operation of our robotic systems. This position is structured as a contract role.

Key Responsibilities:

In your capacity as a Field Robotics Technician, your duties will include:

  • Offering support to clients during the implementation and post-sales stages of our products.
  • Assisting sales personnel in conducting on-site demonstrations for prospective clients.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the performance of customer robot fleets to ensure peak efficiency.
  • Identifying and resolving issues proactively, delivering prompt solutions to minimize customer downtime.
  • Documenting operational metrics and producing reports to assess performance.
  • Providing insights to internal teams regarding customer requirements, product efficacy, and potential enhancements.
Additional Information:

Slip Robotics operates from its headquarters, with this role requiring on-site presence in the Buda, TX area. The position involves approximately 20% regional travel.

Qualifications:

Required Skills:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree, technical certification, or relevant experience in mechanical, electrical, or software disciplines is advantageous.
  • Self-driven and proactive, with the ability to work autonomously and adapt to evolving circumstances.
  • Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, or software systems, acquired through professional experience or academic training.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in dynamic operational settings.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and internal teams.
  • Detail-oriented with robust organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
  • Capability to troubleshoot independently and collaborate as part of a team.
  • A clean driving record and dependable transportation for job-related travel.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site engagements.
