Job Description:
Key Responsibilities- Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products in a timely and efficient manner.
- Read and interpret production schedules, customer orders, work orders, and shipping orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management.
- Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly lines.
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves; convey orders to packing stations or shipping departments.
- Mark materials with identifying information and record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
- Weigh or count items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Arrange stock parts in specified sequences for assembly by other workers.
- Use computers to enter records and compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
- Drive vehicles to transport stored items or to pick up items.
- Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments.
- Prepare parcels for mailing and maintain inventory records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or supply chain coordination.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of inventory management software.
