Interim HealthCare of Sioux Falls is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in Correctional Health at the County Jail in Pierre, South Dakota. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care to individuals in need.
Job Summary:We are looking for RNs who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of our patients. As a Correctional Health Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, preparing and administering medications, and promoting a safe environment during care.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care as assigned and in accordance with patient's personalized care plan
- Prepare and administer medications according to healthcare provider instructions and within the scope of the facility
- Ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and interact with inmates and fellow staff members in a courteous and professional way
- Promote a safe environment during care
- Provide reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shifts
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and has a current license as a RN for the state of South Dakota
- Current CPR certification
- Must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
- Background Check
- Must be able to lift, turn, position, and transfer up to 50lbs of weight
