House Lead

At Deshano Care Home LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate House Lead to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Staff Supervision and Training:
- Oversee and supervise Resident Care Associates, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
- Train and mentor new staff members, ensuring they are familiar with our policies and procedures.
- Provide regular feedback and coaching to staff members to enhance their performance.
- State Inspection, Ombudsman, Police and Tours:
- Ensure the house is always clean and presentable, adhering to our high standards.
- Coordinate and participate in tours, ensuring the house is prepared and staff are aware of their roles.
- Notify management immediately in the event of an unscheduled tour, police visit, or state inspection.
- Resident Care Management:
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, bathing, and hygiene.
- Coordinate Independent Living Skills Training (ILST), ensuring residents receive the support they need to maintain their independence.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans for each resident, ensuring their unique needs are met.
- Resident Engagement and Activities:
- Plan and implement engaging activities and outings for residents, promoting socialization and mental stimulation.
- Encourage residents to participate in activities, ensuring their interests and preferences are respected.
- Document resident participation and feedback, using this information to improve our services.
- Meal Preparation and Housekeeping:
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, adhering to our menu and dietary requirements.
- Ensure the house is clean and organized, maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Coordinate housekeeping tasks, ensuring the house is maintained to a high standard.
- Compliance and Administration:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions, staying up-to-date with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a care home or residential care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, and lifting.
