Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at John H. Stroger Junior Hospital of Cook County. The ideal candidate will possess ER Tech certification and a strong background in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), as well as other relevant certifications.

Certification Requirements
  • ER Tech certification
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
  • CHEMO - Chemotherapy
  • EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
  • Tech Cert Verification - National
  • State License 1 Verification
  • NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
  • NIH Stroke Certification
  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
  • Color Blind Testing Online
  • Competency Exam
  • Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam
Job Details
  • ER Tech certification required
  • 13 week assignment
  • Full time resources only with every other weekend
  • COOK IS A MANDITORY FLOAT FACILITY All resources are required to float at the facilities discretion
