About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at St. Mary Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all duties related to CAT (Computed Axial Tomography) imaging and its related film processing and patient care in the radiology CT unit.
  • Operate and maintain CT scanners and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Develop and implement effective patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest technologies and best practices in CT imaging.
Requirements
  • California Radiologic Technologist licensure.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification.
  • Within 1 year of hire, National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography or National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board certification.
  • 2 years of experience in a hospital setting (preferred).
