We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman Aerial Crew to join our team at Kanaan Communications, LLC. As a Foreman Aerial Crew, you will play a critical role in connecting America by installing and repairing aerial telecommunications cable.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Planning: Prioritize and plan work activities, utilizing time management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
- Crew Management: Lead and train crew members while adhering to all safety procedures and protocols.
- Production and Reporting: Follow production procedures, accurately track and submit daily reports and paperwork, and complete work orders through supervisor's direction and customer specifications.
- Equipment Management: Accountable for issued truck, trailer, tools, signs, cones, and other equipment.
- Safety and Compliance: Safely identify utilities in the work area, recognize electrical and other safety hazards, and adhere to all company policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and requirements.
- Project Management: Ensure completion of work responsibilities and special projects in accordance with the designated timeframe.
- Integrity and Ethics: Adhere to Company ethical requirements, demonstrating the utmost integrity in all professional and personal matters.
- Age and Authorization: You are at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States for this company.
- Education and Experience: You have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid standard Driver's License with a minimum of 2 years driving experience or Class A Commercial Driver's License, and 3 years related experience in working with aerial/buried/underground energized electrical lines.
- Skills and Knowledge: You have the ability to read a tape measure and other measuring devices, read, write, add, subtract, and multiply, and are experienced in reading engineering drawings and site plans, knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations and requirements, and experienced in the operation and maintenance of heavy equipment.
- Physical Demands: Familiar with bucket truck operation and ability to climb telephone poles.
