Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Seaside, OR.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Labor and Delivery. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, reporting outcomes to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications as ordered, with accurate documentation.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
Requirements:
  • One to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery.
  • Current licensure in the state of Oregon.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
  • Physical stamina to perform duties, including standing, walking, and lifting.
