Job Title: Travel Cath Lab Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services in the cath lab and IR department, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including fluoroscopy, angiography, and other specialized imaging modalities.
  • Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, including the Philips azurion C-arm and portable C-arm.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of imaging protocols and procedures, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for all patients.
Requirements:
  • ARRT certification and current licensure in the state of Maryland.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Experience with fluoroscopy, angiography, and other specialized imaging modalities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with computed tomography and ultrasound.
  • IV start skills.
Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with a rotating on-call schedule every other week.
