Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Ace Precision Machining. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for preparing parts for braze by nickel blasting and braze alloy application.

Key Responsibilities
  • Part Preparation: Apply braze paste to parts ensuring a uniform application.
  • Deburring: Deburr parts as needed.
  • Part Packaging: Properly package parts so they are not damaged while being transported to the next operation.
  • Quality Control: Capable of noticing defects in parts (scratches, dents, metal thinning, poor finish) and brings defected parts to Supervisor's attention.
  • Maintenance: In coordination with Maintenance Department, performs preventive maintenance on heat treat equipment.
  • Production Standards: Maintains or exceeds production standards through efficient organization and planning.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follows and complies with safety policies and procedures.
  • Documentation: Accurately completes all required documentation.
  • Teamwork: Contributes to team effort by assisting in areas as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Language Skills: Ability to read English and understand sketches, routings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Mathematical Skills: Requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide decimals and fractions.
  • Reasoning Ability: Requires the use of some judgment to comply with instructions, follow prescribed methods, and make minor decisions as to setups, operations, and processes.
