Job Title: Registered Nurse ICU

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Navarro Regional Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Job Duties:
  • Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Promote patients' independence by establishing care goals and teaching patients and families to understand their conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Texas Nursing License.
  • One (1) year of experience in ICU nursing required.
  • BLS & ACLS certification upon hire.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Two (2) years of experience in ICU nursing preferred.
  • Cardiac experience required.
Working Hours:
  • 7:00p - 7:00a.
  • Self-scheduling unit.
  • Required to work every other weekend.
  • Holidays required.
