Job OverviewAuria is seeking a dedicated Technical Systems Architect to join our team, focusing on the advancement and implementation of the Protected Tactical Enterprise System (PTES). The successful candidate will engage in engineering design, integration, and documentation to introduce innovative solutions for the PTES framework. This role offers a hybrid work environment requiring in-office presence a few days each week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, implement, integrate, and document technical solutions within the Mission Management System (MMS).
  • Collaborate with system developers, testers, and user support teams to facilitate system enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and achieve project goals.
  • Deliver technical guidance and present architectural solutions to clients.
  • Participate in high-level engineering discussions and support Data Products Development, which encompasses APIs, databases, Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), simulations, and Task Automated Operations (TAO).
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
  • Experience in planning or supporting missions utilizing SATCOM constellations.
  • Familiarity with spacecraft configuration and SATCOM resource management.
  • Knowledge of PTW or similar MF-TDMA waveforms used in satellite communications.
  • Experience in developing and reviewing Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
  • Proficient in use case development and design based on ICDs and requirements.
  • Experience supporting programs through requirements and design reviews.
  • Familiarity with Agile Development Processes and tools (e.g., Jira, Agility, Confluence).
  • Experience working within an agile system development framework, performing systems engineering tasks across multiple teams of developers, engineers, and testers.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex issues, develop workarounds, and implement corrective actions across various systems and components.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple demonstration events.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current U.S. Government TOP SECRET security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
  • Experience leading System Engineering initiatives for software development teams.
  • Familiarity with creating and maintaining XML and JSON schemas.
  • Understanding of other engineering disciplines (systems, hardware, testing, configuration management, and quality engineering) and their interactions with software engineering.
Compensation Range: $94,000 - $173,000
  • Engineer Level 3: Bachelor's degree with seven or more years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with four or more years of relevant experience.
  • Engineer Level 4: Bachelor's degree with 12 or more years of experience, or a Master's degree with nine or more years of experience.
  • Engineer Level 5: Bachelor's degree with 16 or more years of experience, or a Master's degree with 12 or more years of experience.
