Job Responsibilities

The Speech Language Pathologist will assess patients with speech, hearing, and language deficits, providing individualized therapy to improve communication skills. This includes teaching patients to make sounds, improve their voices, or increase their oral or written language skills.

  • Provide skilled speech therapy services in accordance with physician orders.
  • Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
  • Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or recover reliable communication and swallowing skills.
