We are looking for a dedicated Registered Vascular Technologist to enhance our outpatient Vascular Surgery team.
Our Vascular Surgery department is recognized for its excellence and is a leading provider in the region.
The team frequently collaborates with international colleagues and has introduced many procedures that have become standard practice in the industry.
Our specialists are proficient in both traditional open surgery and advanced minimally invasive techniques for treating a variety of vascular disorders.
The Registered Vascular Technologist is responsible for conducting a range of noninvasive diagnostic evaluations to identify vascular diseases and must effectively communicate findings to the medical team.
The role requires performing clinical assessments and providing essential patient care during testing. Additionally, the technologist may assist in the training of students, residents, and staff as needed.Adherence to established policies, procedures, and protocols is essential.
- Proficiently conduct all vascular assessments, including but not limited to
- Document patients' medical and surgical histories and presenting
- Collaborate with hospital staff and others
- Complete necessary documentation of tests, including billing CPT and ICD
- Be available for backup coverage on occasional weekends and holidays
- Collect and analyze ultrasound data and report findings, including plethysmographic
Effectively communicate with patients, staff, and visitors on a variety of issues.

Candidates with an associate degree in sonography with a focus on vascular technology are encouraged to apply.
New graduates or cross-trained technologists must obtain RVT or RVS certification.
