Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations in both Front of House and Back of House.
  • Guide and motivate your team towards success.
  • Ensure exceptional service and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Address customer complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Regularly assess product quality.
  • Organize and manage shifts while adhering to labor budgets.
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Conduct timely staff evaluations.
  • Forecast future needs for supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain the restaurant's positive image and suggest improvements.
  • Be prepared to work 50-hour weeks.
  • Stand for the majority of your workday.
  • Manage operational costs and identify waste reduction strategies.
  • Prepare detailed weekly reports and perform daily audits.
  • Promote the brand within the local community through events and word-of-mouth.
  • Train new and existing staff on customer service excellence.

Qualifications:

  • For the Assistant General Manager role, a minimum of 1 year of proven experience in a managerial position, preferably in a restaurant setting.
  • For the Shift Manager role, at least 6 months of leadership experience in a restaurant environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage, with the ability to recall ingredients and dishes.
  • Reliable transportation is a must.
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software, such as MobileBytes or Heartland Restaurant.
  • Exceptional leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong financial management capabilities.
  • An Associate's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or Culinary Arts is a plus.
  • Three strong supervisory references will be required.
