About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at NeueHealth. As an X-Ray Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians with diagnosing and treating disease and/or injury.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality images, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Position patients and take X-rays of specific body parts as requested by physicians.
  • Complete daily logs and forward them to radiologists for reading, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely communication.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure X-ray units meet safety and regulatory standards.
  • Clean, maintain, and make minor adjustments to radiographic equipment, including determining equipment repairs.
  • Maintain radiographic supplies, film, and order as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including functioning as a medical assistant when required.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in radiological technology from an accredited X-ray technician program.
  • Current state X-Ray Technology certificate or BXMO license.
  • One to three years of experience as an X-ray technician, preferably in a medical practice environment.
  • Ability to lift and position patients for X-ray procedures, with physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of X-ray procedures, anatomy, and physiology, as well as radiology equipment and safety protocols.
