Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide evidence-based clinical interventions, including counseling and therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and coordination of care.
  • Deliver education and counseling services to patients and their families, focusing on life skills development and substance use disorder management.
  • Administer Cognitive Behavior Therapy to individuals with substance use disorders, promoting behavior modification and positive outcomes.
  • Conduct assessments for patients preparing for release, ensuring they receive necessary support and resources.
  • Document patient progress, contributing to treatment and care plans, and making recommendations to care teams as needed.
Requirements
  • Valid and active California Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science.
  • At least 12 consecutive months of performing similar services within the last 3 years.
  • Relevant certificates and specialized training in the assigned area.
