Responsibilities:- Deliver patient care that promotes safety and well-being through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
- Perform general patient care by following established standards and procedures.
- Prepare patients for healthcare providers, obtain and record vital signs, and communicate test results and plan of care to patients.
- Administer medications and vaccines, perform routine tests, and schedule patients for diagnostic testing.
- Document patient plans of care, tests, and examination results in the medical record.
- Escalate non-routine issues, questions, and concerns to the practice manager or healthcare provider.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Ability to perform EKGs, draw blood, and administer injections.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work with patients and staff.
- Demonstrated knowledge of examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures.
