  • Job Summary: As a Diesel Technician at Love's Travel Stops, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues with diesel engines, including wheel end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, and air conditioning systems. You will also assist customers with roadside services, provide preventative maintenance services, and ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair diesel engine issues, including wheel end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, and air conditioning systems.
  • Assist customers with roadside services, including tire changes, fuel delivery, and other emergency services.
  • Provide preventative maintenance services to ensure the longevity of diesel engines and other equipment.
  • Comply with company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of diesel engine systems, including wheel end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, and air conditioning systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
