Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic Specialist to join our team at Earthscapes Unlimited, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including diesel powered automobiles, tractors, dump trucks, excavators, and other heavy construction equipment
  • Inspect and diagnose operating problems with equipment, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on company equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Schedule and complete regular maintenance tasks, including tire rotation, grease equipment, oil changes, and other essential services
  • Test and repair small engine equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly and efficiently
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in repair/maintenance of heavy equipment or related machinery
  • Ability to detect and diagnose operating problems, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
  • Capability to operate required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
  • Strong time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly for on-site maintenance and repairs
Work Environment:
  • Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis, requiring good manual dexterity and physical stamina
  • Flexible working hours, including occasional weekend work, to accommodate changing schedules and priorities
  • Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Estimated Salary: $42,000 - $55,000 per year.
