Job Overview

The Reisner Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Store Manager Trainee to join our team. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will be responsible for learning all aspects of successfully running a store in preparation for a management role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and develop your leadership skills while contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

About The Job

  • Supervise Day-to-Day Operations: You will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the store, including managing schedules, handling customer concerns, and ensuring overall store performance.
  • Training and Development: As a Store Manager Trainee, you will receive comprehensive training on all aspects of store management, including personnel management, customer service, and sales strategies.
  • Leadership Development: You will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills by mentoring and guiding team members, as well as participating in leadership development programs.
  • Communications and Collaboration: You will be expected to communicate effectively with team members, customers, and vendors, as well as collaborate with other departments to achieve common goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; prior management experience preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment; combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
  • Skills: Ability to work independently and within a team environment, provide and lead others to provide prompt and courteous customer service, develop rapport and trust with direct reports, interpret and apply company policies and procedures.

  • Competitive Wages: Starting wage: $31.75 per hour; estimated store manager earning potential: up to $142,000 (inclusive of salary and bonus when applicable).
  • Benefits Package: Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, prescription, dental & vision insurance, generous vacation time & 7 paid holidays, up to 6 weeks paid parental leave at 100% of pay, short and long-term disability insurance, life, dependent life and AD&D insurance, voluntary term life insurance.
