Job Summary

The Electrical Installation Supervisor provides on-site coordination and execution of electrical installation work for industrial equipment, ensuring compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and National Electrical Installation Standards (NEIS) code requirements. This position reports to the Controls Installation Manager and works closely with project managers, onsite managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and quality completion of electrical installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise electrical installation activities, either with TGW personnel or subcontracted labor, to achieve deadlines, quality targets, and cost control.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers, electrical installation suppliers, and other TGW employees.
  • Work with onsite TGW teams to enforce OSHA and TGW safety standards, aiming for accident prevention.
  • Ensure compliance with TGW standards and tendering documents, and maintain quality control for electrical installations, including training of TGW employees and subcontracted labor.
  • Proactively identify and solve problems, and ensure all administrative duties are properly completed and maintained.
  • Manage labor hours, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure cost control.
Requirements
  • State Journeyman's License or equivalent.
  • Extensive electrical experience with industrial equipment installation and machine build wiring.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings, submittals, and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Reliability, cost awareness, flexibility, and customer orientation.
  • Able to learn and adapt, and work with numerous contractors and internal departments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Project a plus.
  • Completion of OSHA 30-hour training a plus.
  • Experience in the controls aspects of material handling equipment a plus.
