Position Summary


The primary role of the
Sales Associate is to deliver exceptional customer service, embody our Mission and Core Values, drive sales, maintain store cleanliness, manage product displays, ensure accurate pricing, operate the cash register (POS), prevent losses, and assist the store management team.

Sales Associates play a crucial role in fostering a customer-centric environment and are vital in providing an outstanding shopping experience for our clientele.

Reports To: Store Manager, Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Guarantee that every customer receives exceptional service by creating a welcoming atmosphere, greeting and acknowledging each customer, upholding high standards, demonstrating solid product knowledge, and executing all facets of customer service.
  • Stay informed about all product details, promotional offers, and advertising campaigns.
  • Assist with merchandise placement, display upkeep, and overall store cleanliness.
  • Support the processing and restocking of merchandise; engage in receiving and managing inventory; ensure procedures are executed efficiently.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and practices, including pricing, signage, and loss prevention protocols.
  • Accurately and promptly complete all sales transactions while maintaining proper cash handling at POS registers.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by store management as needed.
  • Relay customer inquiries and requests to management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Familiarity with retail computer systems; proficiency in MS Word and Excel is advantageous.
  • A dedication to service excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Outstanding communication skills, keen attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be capable of lifting, moving, and handling up to 60 pounds regularly to stock products.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to bend, reach, lift, and climb as necessary.
